Early Life
Ultimate Star Thala Ajith Was Born on May 1, 1971, in Hyderabad, India. His father P. Subramaniam is from Palakkad, Kerala and he is a native Tamil speaker and Ajith’s mother Mohini is from Kolkata, West Bengal and she is a Sindhi.Ajith was the middle child out of three brothers, the others are Anup Kumar, an investor, and Anil Kumar, an IIT Madras graduate, and entrepreneur.
Acting career
In 1990 Ajith began his acting career, appeared in a song in the movie En Veedu En Kanavar. After that Ajith was selected for the Telugu film, to star a lead role, the shooting was canceled soon after filming began, due death of the film’s director. In 1992 Ajith appeared in the Telugu film Prema Pustakam, That is the one and only Ajith’s direct Telugu film to date.
Ajith’s First Tamil film was Amaravathi, his voice in that film was rendered by actor Chiyaan Vikram.
After the release of the first movie, while training for a motor race event, there was an accident , Ajith’s back was injured and underwent three major surgeries resulting in bed rest for one and a half years. that was the major fallback for Ultimate Star Ajith’s acting career in the beginning.
In 1995, Ultimate Star Ajith co-starring Thalapathy Vijay in the movie Rajavin Parvaiyile, both thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith fans are waiting to see their combo again. Aasai movie was the Ajith’s first major hit,
Ultimate Star Ajith’s first Filmfare’s award for best actor for the movie vaali it was his first dual role movie he played as two brothers one of them is deaf and mute, initially, he was considered as the chocolate boy and acted in family-oriented and romantic movies.Amarkalam is the first movie he played as a rogue character that was also well received by audiences and critics. In 2001, Ajith acted in a film Dheena released at Pongal and marked Ajith as an action hero. He earned the nickname, “Thala”, from this film.
Though he had given more flop movies than any other top heroes in the Tamil film industry. he has a lot of fanbase because once they were a Thala fan they never change. they have great love for thala.
Ultimate Star Ajith also acted in a Hindi film with Shahrukh khan played as one of the antagonists. also, make a guest appearance in English vinglish Tamil version.
Other career
Ultimate Star Ajith became a race car driver, He is one among very few Indians to race in the International arena and in Formula championships. and also only actor that race in formula racing. Ajith drove in the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships and raced in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship.
Ultimate Star Thala Ajith Kumar is passionate about UAVs and drones. Recently Thala has been appointed as the test pilot and UAV system advisor by Madras Institute of Technology for Medical Express-2018 UAV Challenge.
